
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire was delighted after his team played well in the second half to beat Leicester City 2-1 and book their place in the FA Cup.

Maguire said after reaching the last 16: “It was a great finish. We were much better in the second half. The first half wasn’t nearly as good. We were slow and didn’t really go in. We deserved to be behind at half-time.”
“I thought in the second half we came out with a much more alert tempo, we held the game and really felt we could win and thankfully I put the ball in the goal.”
The slick defender also heaped praise on Alejandro Garnacho, who performed well off the bench, saying: “I thought he had a big impact. He always does when he comes on as a substitute, so credit to him.”
